When the Bipartisan Pro-Choice Legislative Caucus (BPCLC) was founded, it was at a time when threats to abortion rights were looming. Although abortion rights are now under direct attack, the work of the BPCLC has expanded over time to meet changing needs; to reflect the importance of equity and access; and to address a broader spectrum of reproductive health issues. Therefore, it is an appropriate time to rename the Caucus to reflect this evolution.
The following are five proposed names for the Caucus.
Please vote for your #1 choice by checking the box:
*
Bipartisan Legislative Caucus for Reproductive and Abortion Access (BLCRAA)
Reproductive Access Legislative Caucus (RALC)
Bipartisan Reproductive Access Legislative Caucus (BRALC)
Reproductive and Abortion Access Legislative Caucus (RAALC)
Reproductive Access Caucus of Bipartisan Legislators (RACBL)
The mission of the BPCLC is to protect reproductive rights across the state, and provide a voice for pro-choice state legislators in policy debates at both the state and national level.
